PRESS RELEASE 14.05.2009
BECK’s presents
8. und 9. August 2009, Flughafen Hildesheim-Drispenstedt
The lineup is almost complete, and medieval markets and fashion shows provide diversity away from the stages
The M’era Luna Festival, once again opening its gates from the 8th – 9th of August, to an international audience of fans and friends of the gothic-scene, is more than just a festival. In one incomparable weekend, bands of the most diverse, dark, genres – from gothic-pop, to death-glam and electro – the freshly-confirmed Tiamat, Nachtmahr, Krypteria, Jesus on Exstasy, Lola Angst, Scream Silence, No More und Heimataerde, will make sure there is plenty of chaos in the mosh pit. Aside from the music, another aspect of the festival will be revealed - the extravagant fashion on display, the seeing and being seen, jewellery and clothing to be rummaged through on the many stalls, and the gothic-style, far from mainstream, will be pushed into the foreground.
For the first time at the M’era Luna Festival, fashion victims can become inspired by an
sensual fashion show, in which young designers and underground fashion labels will present their latest collections. Furthermore, Kramer, Zunft and Kurtzweyl will once again provide a medieval atmosphere after the success of last year: minstrels, jugglers, craftsmen and fire-breathers display their skills and invite festival-goers on a journey into times gone by.
